AIRO LAM Educational Courses 2025

AIRO LAM, Hypofractionated Update – Lazio, Abruzzo and Molise organized a cycle of three educational courses focused on clinical scenarios that have undergone significant changes in radiotherapy practice in recent years.
As outlined in the scientific rationale, the aim of this educational program was to provide, through three short monthly meetings, targeted and in-depth updates on highly relevant topics, held between June and October 2025.
The courses focused in particular on:
- Gynecological malignancies
- Radiation treatment of brain metastases
- Radiation treatment of benign diseases
Special attention was given to the evolution of radiotherapy techniques and equipment, which are increasingly precise and targeted, and to their integration with systemic therapies, when indicated.
Throughout the meetings, participating physicians and faculty members engaged in a climate of open dialogue and collaboration, supported by dedicated discussion sessions that encouraged lively debates and the exchange of clinical experience. The program highlighted interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous professional development, offering participants a concrete opportunity to enhance their skills and strengthen the network among reference centers within the macro-region.
